During my internship with TBWA\Copenhagen, I assisted the creative team in planning and executing the rollout video for LIDL Denmark’s luxury line of products, made in collaboration with the gourmet chef Wassim.
I was present during discussions of the general concept for the universe shown in the video, as well as initial storyboarding discussions with the production crew.
The finished video performed well on social media. This gave LIDL plenty of new views and attention from a demographic that normally wouldn’t give them the time of day, as part of the larger strategy of #LidlOverrasker (Lidl surprises).
